Performance 21 of 23

Today was a wonderful show. Just wonderful. It’s nearing the end. Only two shows left so things feel nostalgic and wonderful. It’s like that last week of high school/college feeling. Like you can see that things are ending but you’re still in the experience so can actually appreciate the joy of it while it’s happening. That’s what today feels like. I now have enough experiences that I know from my history that I can rely on myself. I’m not afraid that I won’t say my lines or that I can’t connect emotionally. I know that I’ll do well. So I kind of just get to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Today’s show was a huge audience again, 22 people! That’s so huge. Other performers are desperately trying to get audience in, praying for 5 people and getting sometimes 1 or 2. And I’m getting 22 people! I feel really lucky. It’s important for me to explicitly say that I’m aware that I could be having a very challenging time and I’m not having one. I had challenge of course, a lot before coming here. And being here hasn’t been perfect or easy. I could make a long…
