Performance 20 of 23 part 2

I’ve been shortlisted for an award. I think it’s supposed to be a secret as the shortlist doesn’t get officially announced until tomorrow morning. But I’m writing this now and this article won’t be published until days later. So I’m cool to write about it. Anyway — I’m shortlisted for an award!!! AAHHHH!!! I can’t believe it. I’m so excited. It’s Thursday night in Edinburgh. The shortlist will be announced tomorrow, Friday and the Awards Ceremony will be Sunday morning.

When I wrote this show in February of 2024 I never imagined I’d be here right now. Well, I wanted to be here. I wanted to write a Fringe show because I’d been told that Fringe was where people appreciated long form storytelling. So I was really jazzed to come here. I love writing and I love storytelling and I love being on stage. So many of my favorite storytellers cut their teeth at Edinburgh Fringe, honing their craft, developing their voice.
